Autumn Budget – New tax thresholds from April 2018

From April 2018 the National Living Wage for those aged 25 and over has risen to £7.83 per hour. This might effect your pay.
The National Minimum Wage will also increase to :
21-24 year olds – £7.38 per hour
18-20 year olds – £5.90 per hour
16 & 17 year olds – £4.20 per hour
Apprentices – £3.70 per hour

The personal allowance (what pay you are allowed to earn before incurring tax) will be £11,850 from April 2018.
